Bottle cap injection molds often adopt a multi-cavity layout in structure, supplemented by a semi-hot runner system to ensure a longer service life and high quality. The mold material can be customized by the customer’s requirements, and if there is a higher service life expectancy, high-quality mold steel can be used.

 

The bottle cap processed by injection molding is not the final product, it needs to have other processes to get a finished cap. Normally, caps need to go through three steps, 1. Folding, 2. Cutting, 3, inserting, all three of which can be done by automotive equipment.

 

The folding and cutting process can put together in one machine, we called it slugging machine. As the caps are fed through a transmission belt on the machine into the functional area for folding and cutting. It should be noted that the slugging machine needs to be customized by the size of the cap. The function of the lining machine it to embed the PE pet into the caps in turn, The lining machine can be adapted to other caps by changing accessories, but the size should not be too different.

 

The injection molding cap project requires high performance on mold and equipment quality. The output of the caps project is heavy, and the whole process is an automotive production.
