How many types of mold packing methods do you know?
For these finished injection molds that need to deliver to the customer, we need to pack them with different methods before delivery. At present, there are two types of packing methods for injection mold, plastic film, and wooden boxes.
1. For small-size injection molds used locally, we wrap the mold with plastic film for protection. This packing method is fast and economical, and it is being used wildly in the world for small-scale molds. Also for big dimension mold used domestically, we don’t have to pack it, just need to ensure that the delivery is safe.
2. The wooden boxes used for injection molds are all customized. We need to use qualified wooden boxes for packing injection mold. To further security, we can apply iron sheets for secondary reinforcement. Before place the mold in the box, it also needs to be wrapped with plastic film to avoid corrosion during the delivery.
3. We customize the wooden boxes from suppliers to match the actual dimensions of the mold. and also we should leave some extra space for the mold to provide buffer effects during the delivery.
