How to ensure the molded product color?
Injection molds are the tools used to produce precision plastic products. Injection molding is a manufacturing process used to produce complex-shaped products in large quantities. Specifically, heated and melted plastic is injected into the mold cavity at high pressure from an injection molding machine, and then cooled and solidified to get the target products.
For colored plastic products, we need to ensure the uniformity of the product color. So, what are the methods?
1. Before injection molding, check the injection barrel. If the heating ring on the barrel is damaged, temperature changes will cause the product color to deviate.
2. Mold structure and injection molding machine. First, check the injection molding machine to see if there is any malfunction. The mold mainly checks the gating system and the exhaust system, which are two main structures that are prone to color-different problems.
3. Plastic material and masterbatch. Check the product color during the mold test. If light-colored products appear, you need to pay attention to the thermal stability of the plastic material and masterbatch.
The color of plastic products is one of the important factors that affect the appearance of the product. As an injection molding factory, when color problems occur, you have to analyze the reasons and adjust them in time to ensure the stability of mass production.
