How to protect the molded products from deformation?
In the injection molding, we often meet the quality problem of deformation, there are many reasons for this defect, how to avoid it?
1. Mold precision
The dimensional accuracy of the injection mold should be strictly sticked to customer’s requirements, and it ought to design and process the mold according to the drawings. The most critical issue in the mold manufacturing is how to ensure the mold precision.
2. Material shrinkage rate
The shrinkage rate of the same material is different in difference temperatures and environment. To ensure the dimensional accuracy of the product, the mold design needs to be combined with the shrinkage rate of the material under general conditions.
3. Gate design
Design a suitable gate type for the mold and set it at a best location to make sure the molten material flows smoothly in the runners.
4. Product demolding
The product is easy to be deformed in the demolding, which requires a reasonable design of demolding mechanism to ensure that the product is not extruded during the demolding process.
