How to set the injection molding pressure?
Injection pressure is the pressure at which the molten plastic is injected in to a mold cavity. It is typically measured in tons per square inch(psi) or megapascals (MPa)
The injection pressure is determined by a number of factors, including:
The viscosity of the plastic
The size and shape of the part
The size of the gate
The clamping pressure of the mold
The function of injection pressure:
1. Provide a certain filling speed for the molten plastic
2. Squeeze the molten plastic in the cavity
3. Overcome the flow resistance of the molten plastic
