How to use the Color Masterbatch?

1. Silver streaks appear on the surface of the product
This issue should be considered from two aspects: the physical properties of the plastic and the molding process:
1.1 The temperature of the injection molding machine is not well controlled, and the color masterbatch is not fully melted with the plastic material.
1.2 Whether the adjustment of the backpressure of the injection molding machine is appropriate.
1.3 Is the dispersion of color masterbatch and the plasticization of the resin materials good?
Improvement:
1.1 Slightly increase the temperature of the mixing cavity of the injection molding machine to ensure the melting of the product and color masterbatch.
1.2 Adjust the backpressure of the injection molding machine to a suitable level.
If the effect of the product still does not improve after the adjustment, it may be a problem with the color masterbatch and raw material. a detailed contact should be raised with material suppliers to check whether the color masterbatch or plastic material reaches our demands.
2. After adding the masterbatch, the product quality is getting worse, it may cause by the poor quality of additives of the masterbatch. Please contact the suppliers for a detailed specification of the masterbatch.
3. The color difference happened while using the appointed ratio of the masterbatch provided by the manufacturer
3.1 Ensure the mixing ratio of masterbatch and material is correct.
3.2 Whether the carrier of the masterbatch is suitable, may influence the matching process between the masterbatch and the plastic material.
3.3 When the quality and proportion of the color masterbatch are within the normal range, you can further check the setting problems of the injection machines, like temperature and speed.
