Injection Mold Ejection System Inspection Standards

31-07-2024

I. Basic Requirements for Ejection Systems

Ejection Stroke: The ejection stroke should be sufficient to allow the plastic product to be demolded smoothly. Generally, the ejection stroke should be greater than the maximum thickness of the plastic product.

Ejection Speed: The ejection speed should be uniform and smooth to avoid damaging the plastic product. Generally, the ejection speed should be controlled within the range of 100~200 mm/s.

Ejection Pressure: The ejection pressure should be sufficient to eject the plastic product from the mold, but not too high to avoid damaging the plastic product or mold. Generally, the ejection pressure should be controlled below 50% of the injection pressure.

Rigidity of the Ejection System: The rigidity of the ejection system should be sufficient to avoid deformation during ejection, which would affect the ejection effect.

Lubrication of the Ejection System: The moving parts of the ejection system should be kept well lubricated to reduce friction resistance and improve ejection efficiency.

II. Inspection Methods for Ejection Systems

Visual Inspection: Check whether the appearance of each component of the ejection system meets the design requirements and whether there are any defects or damages.

Dimensional Inspection: Check whether the dimensions of each component of the ejection system meet the design requirements and whether there are any out-of-tolerance phenomena.

Functional Inspection: Check whether the function of the ejection system is normal, including the ejection stroke, ejection speed, ejection pressure, etc.

Working Performance Inspection: In actual production, check whether the ejection system can smoothly eject the plastic product from the mold and whether there is any jamming or deviation.
