Injection molded magnet
Injection molded magnet are made by mixing magnetic powder, resin(PA6, PA12, PPS, etc), and other additives, processing them by injection molding with a special molding machine. Compared with sintered magnets, injection molded magnets have the advantages of precise size, light weight, and they have more stable magnetic properties and can be molded with metal inserts.
The excellent performance of injection molded magnet makes them widely used in automotive, house appliance, such as high-performance motors, automotive motors, laser printers, etc.
The two common injection molded magnetic material are ferrite and NdFeB, Ferrite is cheap and the performance can meet most of the functional requirements. For magnetic products with higher requirements, NdFeB is a best option as it has a expensive price and cannot produce with the mold of Ferrite, needs to build a new mold.
