After reviewing that the product design provide by the customer conforms to the molding manufacturing, the steps of mold design are as follows:

1. Determine the number of cavities and layout arrangement.

2. Determine the gating system and runner system.

3. Cooling system.

4. Overall mold structure, including: shrinkage rate, ejection mechanism, etc.

5. Exhaust system design.

6. Mold base.

7. Mold steel.

8. The standard of the mold spares.

9. Detail design of mold core and cavity.

10. Finish mold design.

11. Review and modify.

12. Confirm the design with customers.
