Surface treatment methods for die-casting products
Zinc alloy has excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance. Its low melting point and non-corrosive properties make it a good application in the die-casting industry. To make the die-casting product more adaptive, there are plenty of surface treatments, so how many do you know?
1. Electroplating
Electroplating has a good effect on improving the appearance, density, and corrosion resistance of die-casting products. Before electroplating, the defects such as bubbles and cracks on the surface of the die-casting product need to be checked.
2. Painting
Painting is a special type of paint that can be divided into two types: low-temperature paint and high-temperature paint. Painting is currently widely used on the surface of various metal shells, which can enhance the protective performance of metal products.
3. Electrostatic spraying
Electrostatic spraying can form a protective film on zinc alloy products, making the surface of die-casting products smoother and more beautiful, and also improving the corrosion resistance of the product.
