The principle of ejector pin design in injection mold
1. when designing the position of the ejector pin for housing product, the position of the ejector pin should be placed at the hardest part of the product. In addition to paying attention to whether the ejector force is sufficient, it is also necessary to ensure that the plastic parts can be ejected in parallel or not.
2. The ejector pin should be arranged at the lowest part of the product, such as reinforced ribs, bosses, etc.
3. The ejector pins should be distributed as symmetrically and evenly as possible to avoid causing deformation of the product.
4. the position of the ejector pin cannot affect the appearance of the product. Generally, the ejector pin should be placed at the inner side of the product, so that the ejector pin won’t produce obvious ejector marks.
5. The ejector pin should be designed at the place where the exhaust is hard to emit. If there is a vacuum space between the mold core and the product during ejection, the exhaust problem should be considered as the top question to solve.
