Tips on injection mold projects
As an injection mold factory, to manage each project reasonably and provide customers with fast and efficient mold services, we need to classify each project well, summarize the current status of the project and record all mold and product information for verification. So, what information should be paid attention to?
1. Quotation
Before the mold project starts, we need to provide customers with a quotation for injection molds and mass production. Some basic attributes of the mold need to list in detail in the quotation, such as materials, number of cavities, mold life and lead time, etc.
2. Mold manufacturing
While mold manufacturing, we need to make detailed records of each process and the required time, to provide customers with accurate mold trail time. After the mold is completed, it is necessary to arrange the mold testing in time and send the T0 sample to the customer for confirmation.
3. Sample confirmation
Before submitting the sample to the customer, we need to inspect the sample to see if the sample meets the dimension and appearance requirements. In the case that the trail sample needs to be adjusted and inform the customer how to fix the mold, etc.
4. Mass production
Before the mass production, the material datasheet, and material report should be delivered to the customer for verification, and we should know the product acceptance standards and packaging details of the products from the customer.
5. Mold maintenance
After mass production, a regular inspection of mold condition should be carried out to check whether there will be some defects that need to fix. Moreover, if the customer needs to adjust the product, we should record the adjustment of each component of the mold for confirmation.
