PPO is one of the five general engineering plastics in the world, it has the properties of high rigidity, high heat resistance, excellent electrical resistance, and also, its toxic-zero and pollution resistance makes it widely used in the medical industry, The dielectric constant of PPO is the smallest among engineering plastics, and it is hardly affected by humidity and temperature, which allows it used in power plants of different frequencies.
Chemical properties of PPO
PPO can maintain good dimensional stability and electrical insulation under long-run use, and PPO can be used stably at the temperature of -127~121 degrees Celsius.
Molding technical
The viscosity of molten PPO is high, close to Newtonian fluid, and unmodified PPO cannot be processed by injection molding technology. Corresponding materials can be added to improve the fluidity of the material according to the environment where the product uses. In the production, a suitable parameter of the injection molding machine should be set to ensure the filling of the molten PPO into the mold cavity. (PPO material can mix with PA, PET, PBT, and other materials)
